Ottoman Bedsteads

Ottomans are the ultimate storage solution in the bedroom – designed to allow access to the space within the entire divan base.

Simply lift up the top of the divan (which is hinged to the base) and open up a world of invaluable storage. Hydraulic springs are used to make it easy to lift up – even with the mattress in place.

There are a number of things to consider before purchasing your new ottoman bedstead.

End or Side-opening?

Ottoman beds come with an end or side-opening and the layout of your room will determine which is best for you. We do sell more end-lift ottomans but a side-lift version could be ideal due to the size constraints of the room. Size

There are no standard sizes as such – the external dimensions of single, double, king or superking size ottoman bedsteads are all different.  Measure the space you have carefully (allow for the headboard height too) and check the dimensions before you purchase. We would always advise you buy as large as will comfortably fit in your bedroom. The wider the sleeping area, the less disturbance you will suffer from a restless partner.
