We dealt with Simon with the purchase of our Hypnos bed and he was first class. He is a great Salesmen but not pushy and very helpful. Would recommend this shop for good prices and good service (third time we have used them!)
Their aim is to provide the very best customer service...they achieved the ULTIMATE in customer service. I live in Queensland, Australia and the whole ordering process and delivery, superbly packaged, was a credit to Jones and Tomlin. My Solomon brass bed is beautiful. Thank you to ALL the staff involved...AWESOME.....
Superb Service! Looking for new beds for elderly parents and needed a 2 week delivery on a specific date. They could not have been more helpful, arranging for one bed to be made in 2 pieces and 2” lower than normal. Selected beds and headboards delivered to Kent on time, by very efficient and friendly men, who also took the old ones away. You don’t get this level of service from a chain store!
In July I purchased a Hypnos bed and a Luxury Enhancer Mattress Topper made by Enchanted House which I paid £1095. In short, the bed is as expected, it was realistically priced and reflects its value of £1655, however the mattress topper from Enchanted House which is supposed to be of top quality and handmade, is of poor design and not as expected. I reported the problem within two months, Made of good quality outer fabric and wool filling, it forms lumps, bumps and ridges. It needs to be shaken every day and as it is extremely heavy, it is extremely difficult to handle. The part on which you sleep does not recover shape during the day, so leaving a squashed area in the sleeping part of the topper and a high ridge down the middle, making a super king bed feel like two small singles! The design fault, in my opinion, is that the filling is free to move around within the topper, as it is not sewn into sections, merely buttoned. Other quality manufacturers put the filling into small sewn sections, thereby avoiding the problem which I am experiencing. When I complained to Jones and Tomlin they offered to send an inspector but reported previously, that this is what they expected from the topper. My main complaint, is that, if they know that this happens, why do they not advise the customer at the point of sale? Whilst the topper is not completely useless and remains on the bed it is not what I expected from a quality topper when paying over £1000. Frankly, I have other toppers, which I have had for a number of years and paid a tenth of the price, which are more comfortable. Ideally, I would want to return the topper and replace it with one that will not wear in the same way and be fit for purpose.
I have never purchased anything from this company yet they see fit to send me unsolicited marketing text messages. Each one says text this text to 60777 to stop the messages. You send the text and low and behold down the line you get another marketing text message from them. There is nothing i like more than being distracted during the day by a message from these guys! Just adding on to the response the company provided. My point is your text this number with this text to stop the messages does not work. 3 times I have responded to the specified number to stop these bed company messages with the text the message says will stop it all in the the same case as it appears and 3 times I have continued to get your messages! I have today text back (image attached), I am not holding out much hope it will stop the messages.
