Natural mattresses have been the mainstay of our business for over 75 years.  Mattresses with natural fillings are supportive, comfortable and naturally body temperature regulating, helping you to sleep cooler for longer, ensuring you wake up refreshed and ready to take on the day ahead.

Working in harmony with pocket springs, mattresses with pure natural fillings are hard to beat and represent a significant part of our mattress offering.  Pocket springs themselves are individually wrapped in a breathable fabric pocket which is then stitched to the adjoining spring’s pocket, enabling each spring to mould to the shape of your body, offering the perfect support.  The breathable spring casing further encourages airflow throughout the interior of the mattress, keeping your mattress, and you, fresh and dry throughout the night.

Natural fillings such as wool, cotton, alpaca, and silk perfectly compliment pocket springs and sit on either side of the spring system to regulate your body temperature, so you neither sleep too hot or too cold.  Foams and fibres do not allow air to circulate so freely so can sleep considerably warmer, foam is used in many industries to insulate, which is not a desirable quality in a mattress.
