Description

An elegant headboard designed by Yvonne Börjesson, with a contemporary and minimalist basket-weave pattern. It shares its name with on of King Karl XIII of Sweden's horses. The headboard is crafted from pine, wool, cotton and Swedish leather.

The Tamerlan headboard is available in two heights, 125cm or 161cm and measures 6cm in depth. Please select your required size to reveal the height and fabric options.

A handmade headboard with pure natural fillings

Hästens headboards contain a mix of wool and cotton precisely blended to provide ultimate comfort while bringing naturally fire-retardant properties to the headboard itself. Wool is actually one of the most flame-resistant fibres in existence. It also possesses antistatic properties as well as being strong, elastic, water-resistant and heat-insulating.

Crafted from Slow Grown Swedish Pine

Our rock… The slow-grown Swedish pine in a Hästens is, in a word, solid. It gives the strength and stability of Hästens, a bearer of quality and reassurance. Hästens wooden headboard frames give your bed remarkable strength and stability. Our frames are made of solid, carefully selected pine trees from Sweden’s northern forests, where they grow at a slower pace—something that gives them enhanced strength. Quality and environmental responsibility are close to our heart.

Our passion for nature extends all the way to how each pine grows and the forest regenerates. All wooden frames in Hästens beds and headboards are FSC-certified, which means they are traceable and come from pine harvested in a way that maintains the forest’s biodiversity, productivity and ecological processes.
