Pocket Springs

Pocket Springs are typical in a traditional hand crafted mattress and are used across the industry in most mattress applications, the Anchor bed contains 1000 individually wrapped pocket springs which give the core support to this bed. Pocket springs move independently from each other which means the bed can respond better to pressure points like the hip and shoulder areas while keeping the body correctly aligned.

Hampshire Wool

Sheep breeds that live in the milder Hampshire climate tend to produce a fuller and bulkier fleece than sheep reared in harsher conditions. Millbrook Beds specially select sheep breeds from the South Downs in order to benefit from the exceptional springiness and resilience of their wool. Combining this wool with layers of soft performance cotton and sumptuous silk, results in a wonderfully comfortable mattress.
