The Alnwick 12,000 divan set is part of the Somnus Legacy Collection – some of the most innovative sleep systems available. Each bed is upholstered with the finest natural latex and features unique Sensa intelligent pocket springs.

All mattresses in the Legacy Collection offer two levels of support – medium or firm. An extra-firm ortho option is available with this model.

12,000 Sensa Pocket Springs

The Alnwick pillow top mattress features 10,000 individual pocket springs to help maintain the perfect sleeping posture. The springs help to support your body more evenly and reduce pressure points. A Further 2000 pocket springs are used in the base to perfectly complement the mattress.

Luxurious and Temperature Regulating Natural Fillings

The mattress is filled with sumptuous wool, mohair, flax, hemptex and Egyptian cotton; and it’s finished with a soft-feel quilted damask fabric. The luxurious mattress pillow top increases the overall comfort and helps to provide a superior level of sleep. A layer of natural latex helps to aid pressure point relief and promote blood flow.

This natural alternative to memory foam moulds instantly to your body contours and movement. The mattress is finished with three rows of side stitching for complete edge to edge support.  Nickel-plated ventilators are fitted to the mattress to enhance air circulation, while handles are flag stitched for extra strength and to aid mattress turning.

The Somnus Woburn Edgeguard base system

The divan base features the Edgeguard base system. 2000 springs work in harmony with the mattress to provide edge to edge support. The traditional deep base option is fitted with smooth running metal inset castors and may be selected with any storage drawer configuration available. Want a more contemporary look? Choose a shallow divan base with stylish wooden legs as standard. Finish off your bed with a choice of luxury fabric options.

Contemporary and traditional headboard designs are available in full-depth continental or classic strutted options. All of the wood used in Somnus divan bases are sourced from sustainably managed forests. Indeed, some of the wood used comes from the company’s own Yorkshire woodland.
