Luxurious 100% natural fillings including Natural Cotton, Hemptex, British Eco Wool and Flax are combined to perfection to offer an exceptionally high level of comfort, all finished with 2 rows of hand side stitching for perfect edge to edge support and covered in a luxury wool soft mattress fabric.

Each sumptuous mattress is glue free, foam free and FR chemical free. Each micro spring within the Somnus collection is encased in 100% plant-based bamboo blended fabric. Bamboo is a truly sustainable fibre that provides antibacterial, moisture wicking and insulating properties, helping to keep you cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. NatureCoil™ is our green alternative coil system.

These fine, sustainable materials ensure our handmade mattresses are glue free, foam free, and FR chemical free making Somnus a fully recyclable sleep system.

Here, Somnus rear their own sheep for their beautiful, premium fleeces and grow sustainable hemp and flax. Carefully blended, they create layer upon sumptuous layer of natural fillings, which, together make the perfect, luxurious sleep environment Selected for being soft, springy and durable, Somnu work with many fibres ranging from natural cotton, cashmere wool and hand-teased horsehair to alpaca fleece, tree silk cotton and a British Eco Wool and viscose blend. Chosen for their inherent resilience, breathability and temperature controlling qualities these are hand crafted into every mattress.
