The Manor Rose Windsor divan bed is a high quality handmade bed in a medium to firmer feel that is crafted by hand in Manchester using premium natural fillings, and supportive and comfortable pocket springs. Pocket springs work completely individually from each other which gives you a greater level of support, this is because the springs can adapt to the shape of your body with no friction against each other. This also means that you are less likely to disturb your partner if you move a lot in the night as this movement will not transfer across the bed.<\/p>\n
The mattress is upholstered with luxurious fibres that offer comfort and breath-ability. Cotton fibres offer softness and coolness; making cotton comfortable in hot weather. Cotton gives a soft feel and has an excellent ability to breathe to ensure you a healthy nights sleep. Hessian is derived from the skin of the Jute plant and is used for insulating the mattress spring, helping airflow without affecting the free movement of the spring.<\/p>\n
White fibre is a synthetic upholstery which is a man-made substitute for the more traditional style hair fillings, it has good resilience and is much more cost-effective to produce than horse-hair, but does not have the same responsiveness.<\/p>\n
Manor Rose beds are handmade by craftsman in Lancashire and is fully turnable for longevity. The Windsor mattress is hand tufted with wool tufts and also features solid nickel mesh ventilators and reinforced flag stitched handles. The Manor Rose Windsor mattress has two rows genuine hand side stitching. Genuine hand side stitching is a labour intensive process involving the perimeter rows of pocket springs to be directly sewn to the side panels of the mattress to give complete and absolute edge to edge support and prevent the side panels from bulking out over time.
