The Mayflower adjustable bed mattress is a high quality mattress built specifically for use on adjustable bed bases. The Mayflower makes an ideal replacement mattress for those wishing solely to replace their adjustable bed mattress for use on an existing base. This model benefits from a very substantial mattress specification, 1200 pocket springs are used (based on the 150cm size), with each side of the spring upholstered with natural cotton and Hampshire wool. Natural fillings are ideal for mattresses and they are comfortable and keep you cool throughout the night, helping you sleep deeper for longer. The mattress is then finished in a chemical free natural cotton cover. Established in 1946 (the same year as Jones and Tomlin) Millbrook are locally based to us in Southampton, we have an established relationship with Millbrook and are continually looking at new headboard designs, fabrics and bed and mattress innovation.

1200 SUPPORTIVE POCKET SPRINGS

Individually hand-nested pocket springs are at the heart of every Millbrook Beds mattress. The Anchor features 1200 pocket springs to provide superior support to the whole body. A unique zonal spring system provides extra strength to the sides of the mattress; and reduces sleep disturbance caused by movement.

HAMPSHIRE WOOL

Sheep breeds that live in the milder Hampshire climate tend to produce a fuller and bulkier fleece than sheep reared in harsher conditions. Millbrook Beds specially select sheep breeds from the South Downs in order to benefit from the exceptional springiness and resilience of their wool. Combining this wool with layers of soft performance cotton and sumptuous silk, results in a wonderfully comfortable mattress.

TRADITIONAL HAND SIDE-STITCHING

The mattress features 2 rows of traditional hand side-stitching to secure the outer springs to the border and prevent “roll-out”. This truly labour intensive process prevents the springs from distorting and extends the sleeping area to the very edge of the bed.
