Enchanted House pride themselves as being the UK’s only luxury bed maker to produce ALL of their own wool. Upholstered by hand with exclusive Stoney Farm Dartmoor wool where every single strand is sourced from their own family farms on Dartmoor. Each year, 3 tons of wool is taken from the farm and hand-teased into the mattresses. Whilst being a labour intensive process, this gives a significantly better feel to a mattress. The benefits of hand-teasing become apparent as soon as you try the mattress – a luxurious softness, exceptional support and a faster recovery of shape. This mattress also features soft and supportive Woolley Animals Farm Alpaca and a deep cotton support layer, which sits underneath the Stoney Farm Dartmoor wool to help maximise your comfort.

The mattress is upholstered on both sides of the pocket springs and requires regular turning. Turning a naturally filled mattress to use both sides will significantly increase its lifespan. This is particularly important when the mattress is brand new, as the fillings will be encouraged to settle evenly to avoid body impressions. A full care guide is supplied with each new Enchanted House mattress. The high quality craftsmanship of Enchanted House is reflected in the exceptional 20 year manufacturers guarantee supplied as standard with this mattress. This mattress is also ideal for use on bedsteads or divan bases.

Edge to Edge support with 3 Rows of Genuine Hand Side Stitching

The mattress features 3 rows of traditional hand side-stitching. This pulls the outside rows of springs together all the way around the mattress giving it a true, and firmer, edge to edge support. Enchanted House use a totally natural thread (flax) unlike many competitors who will use polyester or nylon.

The Enchanted House Divan Base

Enchanted House pride themselves on using more FSC certified timber in their divans than any other manufacturer. Storage drawers are built to a high standard, incorporating the industry’s leading drawer runners, and available in all standard height (36cm including castor) bases. A solid Dartmoor oak storage drawer upgrade is available with soft close Blum runners for those storing weightier items.

A shallow base is also available at 26cm including castor for those who wish to reduce the overall height of their beds. Please note storage drawers are not available in the shallow base option. Each base option is available in a comprehensive range of fabrics and colours to suit any bedroom design, please note headboards are not included and are available to purchase separately, if required.
